2024 Rod Building Challenge Results

2024 saw the introduction of the Amateur division, a popular category for any rod builder out there that has not sold a rod. It was great to see people getting behind this and creating some fantastic rods and see the future of rod building stronger then ever, In the professional division competition was tough and results were close.

The amateur winners are taking home a rod building voucher from Fuji / Frogleys Offshore valued at $500, $200 and $100 respectively. The winners are:

1st – Ben Rosenthal

2nd – Vinnie Bleakley

3rd – Peter Geraghty

The professional division taking home $1000 cash and a $1000 rod building certificate with the others in the top 5 taking a Fuji / Frogleys Offshore voucher valued at $750, $500, $250 and $250 respectively. The winners are:

1st – Brad Job Custom Rods – Brad Job

2nd – MH Rods – Matthew Hammond

3rd – BK Custom Rods – Ben Kjorsvik

4th – Mullet Eye Rods – Andrew Prosser

5th – SJS Custom Fishing Rods – Stacey Smith
